I - Working principle
1. Equipping my tank : level gauge
1.1 - Upper mounting part for tank level gauge
The upper mounting part for a tank level gauge needs to be used with a lower valve and a ruler with graduations in order to display the level of a tank.
Two types of connection are possible :
- Upper mounting part for tank level gauge with male BSPP connector in accordance with the standard ISO 228-1.
Two models are available :
- Mounting part with plastic clamping ring, part no. 464511-1220
- Mounting part with stainless steel clamping ring, part, no. 464511-1220IN
- Upper mounting part for tank level gauge with an oval flange connector
This is available in the following materials :
- Oval flange mounting part with plastic clamping ring, part no. 464511-BR
- Oval flange mounting part with stainless steel clamping ring, part no. 464511-BRIN
We propose the following spare parts :
- Stainless steel clamping ring for polyester piping (more resistant to clamping than plastic)
- Silicone gasket | part no. 964903-20
- Oval flange gasket FKM | part no. 964950-BR
- FKM BNIC oval flange gasket | part no. 964951-BR
- Oval stainless steel weld flange | part no. 264952-BR
1.2 - Ruler with graduations
The ruler with graduations is an element which links the upper mounting part of a tank level gauge and the lower valve so that you can view the level of liquid in a tank.
Our rulers with graduations and polyester tubes for level indication can be proposed according to your specific requirements with a choice of length between 0 and 12m. You can also choose whether the graduations are on the left or right hand side :
- Ruler with graduations (only) | part no. 264516-R
- Polyester tube (only) | part no. 964516-T
- Rule with graduations and tube | part no. 964516-RT
1.3 - Lower valve for tank level gauge :
This is assembled onto the lower part of a ruler with graduations. This valve complies with EC Directive 1935/2004.
The lower valve for tank level gauges can be connected in two different ways :
- Lower valve with male BSPP fitting/connector in accordance with the ISO 228-1 standard.
- Lower valve with oval flange connector
These can be adapted to polyester tubes | part no. 964516-T for diameters between 20 and 24 mm included after ring clamping.
For each one of these fittings/connectors, the lower valve is available in 3 models so that you can build your assembly according to your specific requirements :
- Lower valve with plastic clamping ring
(part no. 464512-1220 BSPP thread | part no. 464512-BR oval flange connector)
- Lower valve with stainless steel clamping ring
(part no. 464512-1220IN BSPP thread | part no. 464512-BRIN oval flange fitting/connector)
- All stainless steel lower valve (ring and operating wheel)
(part no. 464512-1220TI BSPP thread | part no. 464512-BRTI oval flange connector)
We propose the following spare parts :
- Pack of spare indicator valve gaskets, part no. 964512-12
- Spare silicone gasket (20mm diameter) | part no. 964903-20 for both connection types.
Also available, BNIC approved FKN version | part no. 964904-20
- Stainless steel clamping ring for polyester tube (higher clamping resistance than plastic version)
- Stainless steel operating wheel (more resistant to repeated opening/closing)
- FKM oval flange gasket | part no. 964950-BR or BNIC FKM oval flange gasket | part no. 964951-BR
- Stainless steel oval flange (only) | part no.: 264952-BR
2. Equip my tank : separation & tasting
2. 1 - The sampling valve, 2 types of junctions :
You can assemble a sampling cock onto your tanks so that you can take product samples with the following choice of connection types :
- Sampling cock, 2 types of connection
The 304 stainless steel male BSPP connector is threaded according to the ISO 228-1 standard. This valve complies with the CE1935/2004 standard and contains an EPDM gasket.
Depending on how you will use it, your requirements and the surface finish you require, the operating wheel's material can be changed (on request) :
- Sampling cock with a plastic operating wheel | part no. 464513-12
- Sampling cock with all stainless steel operating wheel | part no. 464513-12IN
- Simplified all stainless steel sampling cock | part no. 464513-1238
These are available in 1/2" and 3/8" dimensions.
You should complete this assembly with the flat gaskets, model 5296 | part no. 952963-10 and 952963-15 , to make sure that this product's straight threading is water-tight. These are supplied with CE 1935-2004 certification .
- Sampling cock with oval flange connector
This sampling cock is available in two models and you can also choose the material that its operating wheel is made from (on request) :
- Sampling cock with a plastic operating wheel | part no. 464513-BR
- The sampling cock equipped with a full stainless steel wheel
You can also use the following associated products to connect this part to a tank :
- FKM oval flange gasket | part no. 964950-BR or BNIC FKM oval flange gasket | part no. 964951-BR
- Weld flange for valve with flange | part no.: 264952-BR

2.2 Decantation elbow
This part separates undesirable deposits such as limescale, fermentation residues etc. from the liquid in a tank.
Its large curved radius makes it easier to remove this fluid.
The decantation elbow is available in an all stainless steel version (64523) and a stainless steel version with a plastic handle (64522)

- Hose clip with trunnion for efficient plastic piping clamping | model 72136
3 - Instruments : for repair and maintenance
- Empty stainless steel pressure gauge | model 7315 (can be filled with a glycerine can to stabilise measurements)
- Empty stainless steel pressure gauge with diaphragm seal separator | model 7319 (quick release couplings with clamp collars 63418 and gaskets 63422)
- Bimetallic thermometer | model 7306

4 - Spray heads :
Spray heads : you can also use beam jet cleaning nozzles | model 8082 (washing class 3) to clean your tanks..
These heads allow you to save water when compared with more basic spray balls (washing class 1)
Other models are also available according to the degree of soiling in your tanks and the type of washing that you require
5 - Gaskets available as spare parts :
- Macon connector gaskets ( NR SBR material | modele 64116 and FKM material | model 64117 )
- Blank nut gaskets ( NR SBR material | model 64121 et FKM material | model 64122 ) with the choice of "with or without recess"
- Square flange gaskets (NR SBR and FKM material) with a choice of round or oblong holes 64146 , 64148 , 64147 , 64149
